This handout provides a summary overview of preliminary economic analysis that evaluates the net economic return of mechanized asparagus harvest. The analysis evaluates the latest engineered Haws selective asparagus mechanical harvester using field test data on the harvester’s efficiency in comparison to traditional hand harvesting for the fresh asparagus market.
